MARBEL technical coordinator participates in a webinar on EVs safety organised by i-HeCoBatt project
MARBEL project technical coordinator Alberto Gómez, from Eurecat, presented the project during the webinar “Safety of Electric Vehicles batteries: from standards to novel developments”, organised by i-HeCoBatt project on November 4th. The webinar was focused on discussing and sharing experiences related electric vehicles batteries developments and disseminating some results achieved by the involved participants.
During the webinar, Alberto Gómez delivered the presentation “Novel EV safety management strategies” giving a general overview about MARBEL project, its vision and main objectives related to safety management and safe design strategies and explaining the safety validation, testing and demonstration processes developed by the project.

The webinar also counted with the presentation of LISA project and the participation of representatives from CIDETEC, DATIK, LOMARTOV and the Spanish Association for Standardisation (UNE), which share their knowledge on electric vehicles’ safety standards, and certifications for batteries.
