Presentation of a MARBEL-related paper during the International Conference on Information, Intelligence, Systems and Applications
The MARBEL project has been presented in the 13th International Conference on Information, Intelligence, Systems and Applications (IISA 2022) hosted by the Ionian University from 18th – 20th July in Corfu (Greece).
Project partner Afroditi Fouka, from the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems of the National Technical University of Athens, has participated in the session “Machine Learning” presenting a paper based on some work and research done as part of the MARBEL project. The paper, titled “Α Machine Learning Framework for Li-Ion Battery Lifetime Prognostics”, has been produced by Afroditi Fouka, Katerina Lepenioti, Alexandros Bousdekis and Gregoris Mentzas, from ICCS-NTUA.
The paper presents a software framework with diverse data analytics and machine learning for Li-ion battery health estimation and prediction. The framework is capable of supporting several data analytics processes in a dynamic manner, employing data from heterogeneous data sources into a single web application. The paper presents the functionalities of the framework in three scenarios to demonstrate its applicability.
The IISA Conference has offered a forum for the constructive interaction and prolific exchange of ideas among scientists and professionals from different research fields with the goal of developing methodologies and tools for the solution of complex problems in artificial intelligence, biology, neuroscience, security, monitoring, surveillance, healthcare and sustainability in energy sources, among others.
