MARBEL project presented at the TRA Conference in Dublin

MARBEL project presented at the TRA Conference in Dublin

Project partners from MARBEL project attended the Transport Research Arena Conference (TRA2024), the largest European event dedicated to transport and mobility research and technology. The conference took place from 15th – 18th of April in Dublin (Ireland).

The MARBEL’s coordinator Eurecat organised, in collaboration with the COLLABAT cluster projects, the Special Session “Joining Forces to Support Uptake of Sustainable Green Mobility”. The session offered an overview on how COLLABAT research projects support to overcome some of the challenges associated with the future of Electric Vehicles. Representatives from ALBATROSS, HELIOS and LIBERTY also participated in this session highlighting their innovative solutions.

In addition, Sándor Eichinger, project partner and CFD Engineer at AVL Germany, participated in the Technical Session “Batteries” presenting the paper “Manufacturing and assembly of modular and reusable EV battery for environment-friendly and lightweight mobility”, based on MARBEL-research and investigating the influence of different thermal conductivities of the Battery Thermal Management System (BTMS) on the average battery cell temperature.

On the other hand, MARBEL project’s materials were disseminated in different stands of the TRA exhibition area, such as the EARPA Association and the COLLABAT cluster booths.

The TRA Conference stands as the largest European event focused on all transport modes and mobility which brings together experts to delve into pivotal innovations and anticipate future trends and challenges within mobility and transport sectors. The 2024 edition of the TRA Conference highlighted transport transitions striving toward a mobility landscape that is both sustainable and inclusive.
