MARBEL project pitched to the BEPA battery community

The MARBEL project has been presented to BEPA members during the Association Delegation election pitches within its 5th General Assembly, taking place on December 6th online and in Brussels.

During the General Assembly, attended by all BEPA members, Alberto Gómez, MARBEL technical coordinator and Technology Transfer Manager of e-Mobility and ESS at Eurecat, included information about the MARBEL and the COLLABAT cluster, in which the MARBEL project participates, during his pitch to become part of BEPA’s Delegation. BATTECH, a Battery joint research, development, testing and innovation unit created by Eurecat and IREC to enhance knowledge and technology transfer to the industry, was also presented.

The General Assembly also included a session on ongoing and completed activities carried out by BEPA, the association work plan for 2023 and official induce of new members.

The Batteries European Partnership Association (BEPA) is the international non-profit making association (AISBL) representing the private-side of the BATT4EU Partnership, a co-programmed partnership established under Horizon Europe – the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation of the European Union- that aims to achieve a competitive and sustainable European industrial value-chain for e-mobility and stationary applications.

BEPA gathers the European battery community willing to contribute to the ambitious upcoming Research & Innovation Batteries Partnership under Horizon Europe. The main activity of BEPA is thus to provide input and advice to the European Commission to contribute to the identification of priorities of research and innovation activities and the definition of call topics to be included in the Horizon Europe Work Programmes.
