MARBEL project pitched at a webinar on sustainable mobility organised by XRE4S
The MARBEL project has been presented during the webinar “Energy solutions for sustainable mobility”, organised by XRE4S, the R+D+I Network Energy for Society, and celebrated last 6th of April.
The webinar had the objective to present and discuss about the latest research advances in the field of energy to the industry, as well as to share experiences and know-how of the latest results achieved in this sector.
During the session, Alberto Gómez, MARBEL project’s technical coordinator from Eurecat, delivered the presentation “Sustainability and innovation in the batteries of the future of electric mobility” and talked about some of the main work and research done as part of MARBEL project.
Moreover, the presentation included a general overview about the BATTECH initiative, a joint research and innovation unit that aims to be the Southern Europe’s battery R&D&I leading partner. Created in collaboration with IREC and Eurecat, the centre encompasses research, development and innovation across the entire value chain of the next generation of electric cells and batteries for the electric mobility, renewable energy and capital goods markets.
XRE4S is a multidisciplinary and transversal ecosystem which gathers the expertise in the energy field of the main universities and research centres around Catalonia. Its main objective is to promote the technology transfer and valorisation of energy technologies to industry and society.
