MARBEL pitched to Turkish mobility companies
MARBEL partner from THI presented the project and the ongoing manufacturing of MARBEL’s innovative battery during a workshop held in the Silicon Valley of Turkey, near to Istanbul, the past 23rd of September with members of key Turkish mobility companies.
Julian Blümke, researcher, and Mar Folgueral, project manager at CARISSMA – Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI), attended the workshop at Siro facilities, producing electric vehicles’ battery modules and packs. Apart from Siro representatives, the workshop was attended by the Turkish electric car manufacturer Togg, FEV Türkiye and members from Eurecat and VUB.
During the meeting, Julian Blümke presented the activites that are carried out by THI for the MARBEL project.
THI is in charge of leading the testing, demonstration and validation of the developed system. We additionally contribute to the definition of the system’s requirements (especially safety) and to the development of the battery management system, together with a focus on cyber-security.
After the meeting participants could visit Siro battery manufacturing line and experience a demonstrator of the Togg electric vehicle by OEM engineers.
