Eurecat and IREC bring MARBEL project to the Battery Show Europe
The MARBEL project has been presented at the Battery Show Europe, the European’s leading meeting place for the advanced battery and hybrid/Electric Vehicles technology community, celebrated from 28th – 30th of June in Stuttgart, Germany.
Partners from Eurecat, the project’s coordinator, and IREC (The Catalonia Institute for Energy Research) have participated in the conference presenting the BATTECH initiative, as well as the MARBEL project and COBRA project, some of their research and innovation projects working in the field of advanced batteries and Electric Vehicles.
During the conference, the MARBEL project has been showcased in the BATTECH’s own booth number 10-G94, including the general rollup of the project. Moreover, project’s flyers have been distributed to all attendees approaching the BATTECH’s booth.

The BATTECH initiative is a joint research and innovation unit designed to cover the whole of Southern Europe’s battery ecosystem R&D&I. Created in collaboration with IREC and Eurecat, the centre encompasses research, development and innovation across the entire value chain of the next generation of electric cells and batteries for the electric mobility with the goal to solve current and future challenges related the 2nd life and batteries recycling.
The Battery Show Europe has brought together more than 6,000 attendees and more than 100 speakers and has presented a program with plenty of workshops, networking meetings, and training and education sessions covering topics related to batteries development and hybrid and Electric Vehicles innovative technologies.
