MARBEL eco-design methodology presented at the SETAC Annual Meeting
The MARBEL project has been present at E-TECH, the international exhibition on Advanced Batteries and Innovative Technologies for Automotive and Electric Vehicles Production, celebrated between May 7 and 8 in Bologna, Italy.
During the exhibition, project partner AGRATI had its own stand and demonstrated the design and development of busbars for ensuring the connections cell to cell, module to module and module to side switches in the advanced battery packs being developed in the MARBEL project.
In addition, a first battery module developed to be integrated in the project’s battery pack was also showcased with a detailed explanation of the design and development process.
MARBEL partners from AGRATI, attended the exhibition and introduced the project’s main innovations and advancements to all attendees approaching the stand.
The MARBEL project is developing an innovative and competitive lightweight battery with increased energy density and shorter recharging times to accelerate the mass market take-up of electric vehicles solving two of the main critical points in consumer’s decision-making: limited vehicle autonomy and charging times.
The E-TECH 2024 presented manufacturing technologies, services and solutions for the entire electric vehicle industry and brought together all key players of the entire supply chain presenting the latest innovations and future trends of the sector.
