This deliverable includes the requirements in order to develop a BMS according to the automotive ISO 26262 (Functional safety) standard.
It is focused on concept phase development activities (Item definition, Hazard and Risk Assessment and Functional Safety Concept) for the BMS item. A preliminary technical Safety Concept derived from the Functional Safety Concept is defined in order to guide the following BMS development phases. A summary of the ISO 26262 sections related to process and activities is also provided, highlighting key aspects.
