D3.6 Battery Thermal System - Abstract

This deliverable includes a description of the thermal control system developed for the battery system developed in MARBEL project. The main responsibility of the system is to ensure the optimal battery's performance by unlocking its full potential and achieving the goals of enabling long distance trips, shorter recharging time, and a high level of modularity at the same time. The system aims also to simultaneously prevent any potential hazardous situations. Moreover, the control system features innovative strategies regarding prediction and cell temperature estimation without placing additional sensors in the battery pack.
