D1.3 Project Quality and Data Management Report - Full report

This deliverable provides a comprehensive report of the data management activities carried out throughout the MARBEL project. The MARBEL project aimed to develop a modular, lightweight, high-performance battery pack to accelerate the mass adoption of electric vehicles. Achieving this objective required the generation, management, and analysis of extensive experimental and secondary data across various domains—ranging from thermal performance to life cycle assessment.

The Quality and Data Management Report outlines the framework adopted to ensure data was collected, processed, stored, and shared in line with Horizon 2020 FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable). It categorizes datasets into primary and secondary sources, detailing their origin, format, relevance to the project’s scientific, economic, and environmental goals, and their access policies. A structured naming and versioning strategy, compliance with GDPR and ethical guidelines, and a robust data security plan underpin MARBEL’s commitment to responsible data stewardship.

This deliverable consolidates all updates made to the Data Management Plan over the project’s lifespan, highlights the alignment of data with technical and policy objectives, and demonstrates the contribution of data management to scientific excellence, transparency, and long-term impact.
